Bulk Mulch
We offer mulch in a large variety of colors and consistencies. Bulk mulch is delivered on walking floor (self unloading) semi trailers. Basic benefits of mulch:
adds beauty to your landscaping projects
encourages the health of the soil. As the mulch breaks down, it releases nutrients into the soil.
helps retain moisture
moderates soil temperature
discourages weed growth and soil erosion
We use a carbon based colorant in our dyed mulches, making it is safe for the environment, plants, people, and pets. We offer a selection of colors in both the Colorscape and Designer Shades colored mulch lines:
ColorScape Mulch is produced using our double shredded premium hardwood as the base material. No recycled materials are used. The premium hardwood leaves the finished product looking less fractured and more smooth, creating a finer, uniform and finished mulch.
Designer Shades Mulch blends natural wood by-products and recycled materials. This material has longer and wider pieces in addition to the fines and adds depth to the overall appearance.

Handy Tips
Soak mulch before or immediately after applying it to gardens.
Never plant through dry mulch, especially during hot weather.
Sandy soils dry out quickly and often benefit from a slightly deeper mulch layer.
The mulched area should cover as much of the root zone as possible.
Most mulches naturally decay adding valuable organic matter to the soil; add more mulch as needed year over year to retain mulch depth and freshness.
