Compost can be used for:

Improving soil quality:

• Mix compost into new or existing soils by improving soil structure, aeration and water retention.

Topdressing:

• Spread a layer of compost over soil in gardens or flower beds

• Onto lawns (ideally after aerating)

• These practices provide slow-releasing nutrients back into the soil that are often depleted.

Containers or Raised Beds:

• Create your own potting mix by adding compost to your potted plants and raised beds.
