XylemMat™ is a specialized woodchip ground cover recognized by architects, insurance companies, parks and school districts alike, as a product that minimizes hazards on the playground and increases accessibility. XylemMat™ uses no chemical treatments, additives, waste woods, or recycled pallets to decrease the possibility of contamination and the risk of poor surface stability. XylemMat™ has been certified to meet or exceed the ASTM testing requirements for layground surfaces in relation to Wheelchair Accessibility (ASTM 1951-99) and Shock Absorbency (ASTM F-1292-99), and is a unique product to Xylem.
